MIXED RULES
BAT TESTING: ALL bats must be tested and will receive a sticker. Teams will be able to check in with a maximum of 25 bats tested, with the first 20 passes being stickered. Failed bats will be kept in the office until your team is eliminated. Bat testing will open 1 hour prior to your game and only two representatives per team are allowed to test.
BAT RULE: Only the new 240 stamp bats will be allowed. Anyone caught using an unstamped bat will be an out and ejected from the game. Anyone using an altered bat will be ejected from the tournament. Please cover this in your pre-game. We will be testing bats prior to the tournament.
HATS: No bucket hats are allowed. A front facing ball cap is the only hat allowed. (except for a pitcher or fielder wearing a mask who can chose to wear one backwards under their gear)
BALL RULE: The Tournament Director will supply two (2) 11” and two (2) 12” game balls. (Any Classic M, Classic W, or Pro M ball is allowed with a USSSA Stamp except for Hardcore, ONYX or Stadiums)
TIME LIMITS: 65 mins or 7 completed innings
ROSTERS: All players MUST be on the roster. Should your team be rostered checked and lose, your team will lose that game 0-7.
DUGOUT RULE: Only ROSTERED players and coaches are allowed in the dugout or on the field at all times. Should an un-rostered player be on the field or in the dugout, they will be asked to leave. If they fail to leave or are caught a second time, they will be removed from the park.
RUN RULE
20 AFTER 3 INNINGS-15 AFTER 4 INNINGS-10 AFTER 5 INNINGS- NO FLIP FLOP RULES
EQUALIZER
When a D team plays and E team, the E team will be given the option to take six (6) runs at the beginning of the game. Should the E team choose the equalizer, they will become the visiting team. In the championship team, the undefeated team will become the home team, even if the equalizer is used. In the IF game, we will go back to regular rules if an equalizer is chosen. NDQ and Vengeance will be playing as the D teams in the tournament.
HOME RUN RULE
MIXED D VS D: Three (3) Home Runs, per gender, per team PLUS DHH. Excessive HRs are Inning Ending Outs.
MIXED D VS E: Two (2) Home Runs, per gender, per team PLUS DHH. Excessive HRs are Inning Ending Outs.
MIXED E VS E: One (1) Home Run, per gender, per team PLUS DHH. Excessive HRs are Inning Ending Outs.
DESIGNATED HOMERUN HITTER (DHH): One player, per gender, may without penalty hit a homerun each time at bat. Teams must designate their DHH(s) prior to the beginning of the game by circling them on the lineup card. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the hitter for the entire game. If the DHH is walked, the next person may hit a homerun without penalty until the DHH’s spot comes back up in the lineup. If the DHH is substituted, the DHH is lost until the original player comes back into the lineup.
COURTESY RUNNERS:
One (1) courtesy runner, per gender, per inning (one time) may be used. The courtesy runner can be any player on the roster. A male must run for a male and a female for a female. If the courtesy runner is still on base at the time his/her turn to bat comes up, that spot in the batting order will be an out. After the courtesy runner rule, we put in Effect: If a second runner of the inning or one not from the roster enters the game and the defensive team completes a proper appeal before the next pitch, or pitchers’ action, intentional walk or before all fielders have left fair territory, the runner will be declared out with no further action. The pitcher does NOT get an automatic runner.
ON DECK RULE: Only two on deck batters and 1 coach in each box, all others are to be inside the dugout.
PROFANITY AND TAUNTING: This will not be tolerated and based on umpire discretion. This is your only warning. A director, UIC or umpire has the right to remove you from the field OR the park. Out of sight, out of mind. This is your ONLY warning for the "f bombs" as well.
